The EcoFlow PowerOcean 2 Battery Base provides a secure and stable foundation for the first stack of EcoFlow PowerOcean 2 5.02kWh battery modules. Designed specifically for PowerOcean 2 battery systems, it enables quick installation while ensuring reliable support for modular battery expansion.

The battery base supports stacks of up to six PowerOcean 2 battery modules, creating a compact and scalable residential energy storage solution.

Modular Battery Expansion

The PowerOcean 2 Battery Base is used to support the primary battery stack of up to six 5.02kWh battery modules.

For PowerOcean 2 Plus systems requiring additional storage, a second battery stack can be added using the PowerOcean Plus Battery Base together with the PowerOcean Plus Junction Box, allowing total storage capacity to be expanded up to 60kWh.

Cross-Generation Compatibility

PowerOcean 2 battery modules are compatible with earlier EcoFlow PowerOcean LFP batteries, allowing existing systems to be expanded with newer battery technology.

When combining battery generations, EcoFlow recommends using the PowerOcean Battery Base rather than the PowerOcean 2 Battery Base. In mixed installations:

• The PowerOcean LFP batteries should always be installed at the bottom of the stack.
• The PowerOcean 2 batteries should be installed above the PowerOcean LFP batteries.
• Refer to EcoFlow installation guidelines for maximum supported mixed-stack configurations.
